We’re happy to announce to our loyal guests – and to those who are about to become one – that Apartment "Turina – Valun" is once again opening its doors! Refreshed and renovated, yet still radiating that charming, vintage character you remember…

The apartment includes a kitchen, dining and living area, sleeping space, and a bathroom. The true highlight is the stone-paved terrace with a sea view and outdoor grill, overlooking the harbour wall and the picturesque Valun bay.

Take a few steps downhill toward the "centre" and you’ll find a well-stocked kiosk, a charming little church, and the main square with a grocery store – where you’ll face the important decision: right to Zdovica Beach, or left to Raca Beach. On your way to either, you’ll likely be tempted to stop by one of Valun’s cozy restaurants or cafés.

In addition to the kitchen, an outdoor grill with a gas cylinder and the necessary utensils is available. Please feel free to ask the host for assistance.
If you enjoy cycling or paddleboarding, you are welcome to store your bike or SUP board at the apartment entrance.
The property features a private terrace set within a larger surrounding grounds shared with two other properties.
We have two dogs: a King Charles Cavalier named "Grom" and a Labrador named "Neptun". Our house is located on the other side of the terrace from the apartment. If you are uncomfortable around dogs, just let us know and we will happily keep them indoors during your stay.
... AND ... we purposefully omitted the TV – the view overlooking Valun Bay surpasses any TV-shot...

Cancellation Policy

A 50% deposit is required to confirm your reservation. The reservation date is considered confirmed at the moment you receive official booking confirmation.

30+ days before arrival: Full deposit refund.
14 to 30 days before arrival: 50% deposit refund.
Within 14 days of arrival: The deposit is non-refundable.

Parking availability

The apartment is just 200 meters from a free public parking lot, and you can drive right up to the apartment for loading and unloading.

Immerse yourself in Valun's unique atmosphere... "Valun Night" is a traditional folk and fishing festival. The event features a music program, local products, and a special food and beverage offer. The event follows the official calendar published by the Town of Cres Tourist Board.

Discover the Valun Tablet: A Journey to the 11th Century!

The Valun Tablet is one of the oldest and most important Croatian epigraphic monuments from the 11th century.

This stone tombstone is unique because it features the same text written in two languages (Old Croatian and Latin) and two scripts (rounded Glagolitic and Latin). It bears witness to the coexistence of the old Romance and the newly arrived Croatian population, and the text records three generations of a family: grandmother Teha, son Bratohna, and grandson Juna.

Today, the original tablet is built into the wall of the parish church of St. Mary in the centre of Valun, while its replica is located at the local cemetery.
